The ministry said that a new Bharat Series (BH-Series) has been launched for registration of vehicles. People changing the state will not have to re-register their vehicle after reaching the new state due to this series.
These people will benefit more
The ministry says that the registration of BH-Series will be done on a voluntary basis. Most of the people go from one state to another for job-profession, this includes both government employees or private.
Therefore, employees of Central and State Governments, employees of Central and State Government Undertakings (PSUs), defense personnel and employees of large private sector companies will be able to take advantage of BH-Series. Employees of private sector companies whose offices will be in 4 or more states / union territories, their employees will be able to take advantage of this.
The ministry also informed that in a single attempt, an IT based solution has been introduced to register the vehicle according to the new BH-Series.
what is the current rule
