Reliance Industries New Project – Reliance Industries Will Save The Environment, Will Make This Product By Recycling 500 Crore Plastic Bottles
Reliance Industries informed on Wednesday that for this plan, plastic recycling and waste management company Srichakra Ecotex India Pvt Ltd will set up a new plant in Andhra Pradesh. This plant will turn out solely for Reliance Industries.
Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) will be recycled from PET bottles in the plant to be set up in Andhra Pradesh for Reliance Industries. The plant will have a wash-line of PSF-Recron GreenGold and PET Flakes. Under the brand name Recron, the company produces cotton-like fiber which is used for filling in pillows etc.
The target of this plan of Reliance Industries is to more than double its capacity to recycle PET bottles. About 500 crore PET Bottles used by this move will be recycled.
With this move of Reliance Industries, more than 90% of PET Bottles will be recycled after the customer’s use in the country. India still has the highest rate of recycling plastic bottles etc. (PET) after use.
This plan of Reliance Industries will encourage new entrepreneurs in the country. They will collect the used plastic packing from the waste dumps for recycling. They will also be encouraged to set up new recycling facilities.
This initiative of Reliance Industries will benefit the environment of the country. When such a large number of PET Bottles will be required, then many waste management companies will work in this direction. New companies will come up and the work of creating new wealth from waste will go ahead in the country.
